Although probably a waste, still a better position than to have been looking for 4.5m

Here, I’m 35, should I have not been offered a booster by now?
Might as well do another round before the winter as throw them out.
I could do with a sleepy day off, get to the stabbing.
Covid cases rising. Talk about reintroducing masks.
It reminds me of the post 2008 years about getting rid of ghost estates, and here we are with a housing crisis.
The elderly and vulnerable should still be getting jabbed 1-2 times a year indefinitely imo, why waste them.
Whats their alcohol content?
Surely we can mix it into one of our fine beverages..
Else just force it onto the tourists and charge them for it 😀
It really highlights the total inequity of access to vaccines at the peak of the pandemic. Low and middle income countries who struggled to procure vaccines and still have low coverage rates, and now high income countries with huge surpluses of vaccines because of over procuring stock. 4.5m surplus is a ridiculous overshoot given they’re not the most stable vaccines.
My Dad is 75, still hasn’t been offered the 4th one. I don’t know anybody who has
I’d take a booster if there’s any going, my last one was four or five months ago
Check with a vaccinating pharmacy to see if you can get one. They can check if you’re eligible online.
Still haven’t got my first!
What greed ordering too many, especially many have also been thrown away when fridges weren’t turned on etc and whilst developing countries are still lacking vaccines
Anyone remember when Africa were short on vaccines? And we were told that none of us are safe till we’re all safe. What happend did they manage to inoculate the whole continent or do we not care anymore.
I’m interested by the people here keen to get a 4th dose. Considering the age profile of reddit, it seems a bit unusual so many want it (unless we have that many immunocompromised people here?).
I’m in my 30s, covid seems to have mutated in to something that is of little to no risk to me, especially with 3 doses and 2 previous infections. If that changes I will get it, but for now I’m taking medical advice which is that I’m not in a risk category that would require it.
I genuinely wanted to take a booster shot. The only vaccine available for my age is Pfizer. Ironically, it is not available in my county and pharmacies are having shortages and are all pre-booked. I cannot physically get to the vaccination center since there is no transport. At this point, I just gave up.
Had my first booster last Friday week, ended up getting pharyngitis(according to my doctor)from it, stay miles away from the moderna booster
Better to be looking at it than looking for it a wise man once said.
