Civil Protection Malta is organising a special stair climb to remember the firefighters and emergency responders who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks, 25 years on.
The event, titled “We Climb – So That We Never Forget”, will take place on Saturday 12th September at the Barrakka Lift in Lascaris.
From 7am until 12pm, participants will take on the stairs with one purpose: to climb in remembrance of those who fell.
The event is open to firefighters, NGOs, emergency services, athletes and members of the public.
“25 years on, we honour. We will never forget,” Civil Protection Malta said in announcing the initiative.
