Two children have been injured after an e-scooter lost control and crashed on a busy suburban street in Perth’s north.
The two boys were riding the scooter up Huntriss Road in Scarborough before losing control of it near Boronia Street at about 2.30pm on Sunday.
St John Ambulance responded and the boys were rushed to Perth Children’s Hospital, where they remain being treated for non life-threatening injuries.
WA Police said the incident is being handled by Road Policing officers.
It is the latest in a string of crashes involving e-scooters, with a teenager colliding with a ute outside Yanchep Secondary College last Wednesday morning.
Police launched Operation Moorhead earlier this year in an effort to crackdown on young people enagaging in dangerous, offensive use of e-rideables.
