The beginning of autumn promises just as much action on Lithuania’s events calendar as the summer. US hip-hop superstar A$AP Rocky will perform in Lithuania for the first time at Kaunas’ Žalgirio Arena, the city’s sky will light up for the 15th International Fireworks Festival “Fejerija”, while five-time Grammy Award winners Snarky Puppy will take the stage in the capital.

September will also offer plenty of variety. Contemporary circus fans can look forward to the “Helium” festival, literature lovers to the Kaunas Book Fair, and adrenaline seekers to “Rally Elektrėnai”. The month’s musical programme will also feature a joint project by Monika Liu and Los Secretos de Pablo, the musical “The Little Prince”, a K-Pop show and numerous concerts by Lithuanian artists.

September 3 (Vilnius)

Lithuanian pop classics meet Latin American rhythms on September 3, when Monika Liu and Los Secretos de Pablo present their collaborative album “Šešėliai lange” at Vasaros Terasa in Vilnius. The album reimagines Lithuanian pop songs through salsa, cumbia, reggae and other Latin American sounds. More than 15 musicians will come together on stage, promising powerful brass arrangements and infectious rhythms made for dancing.

Akli New Album Launch Shows

September 3 (Vilnius), 18 (Kaunas), 25 (Klaipėda)

Alternative rock and post-punk band Akli will kick off the autumn with a three-city tour presenting their fourth album, “Teatras”. On September 3, the band will perform at Lukiškės Prison in Vilnius, followed by the former Daina cinema in Kaunas on September 18 and Hofas in Klaipėda on September 25. The conceptual album explores the social roles people perform in their everyday lives.

Vaidas Baumila in the Prison Courtyard

September 4 (Vilnius)

On the first Friday of autumn, September 4, Vaidas Baumila and his band will return to the courtyard of Lukiškės Prison in Vilnius. Last year’s concert at the venue could not accommodate everyone who wanted to attend, so this time the artist is preparing his biggest show of the warm season and a symbolic farewell to summer. His best-known songs will fill the open-air venue, accompanied by scenography created especially for the evening.

Solo Ansamblis Concert Tour

September 5 (Kaunas), 9–10 (Vilnius), 19 (Klaipėda)

Known for their distinctive “sad dance” sound, Solo Ansamblis will play four concerts across three Lithuanian cities in September. The band will perform at Kaunas Yacht Club on September 5, Vasaros Terasa in Vilnius on September 9 and 10, and Hofas in Klaipėda on September 19. Both Vilnius shows are already sold out, while the programme will feature tracks from the album “Scenos” alongside other audience favourites.

Five-Time Grammy Winners Snarky Puppy

September 9 (Vilnius)

On September 9, one of the most prominent names in contemporary instrumental music, five-time Grammy Award-winning Snarky Puppy, will perform at the Compensa Concert Hall in Vilnius. The band’s music blends jazz, funk, R&B, rock, soul and gospel. They are coming to Vilnius as part of their global “Somni World Tour”, named after their latest album, “Somni”.

British Electronic Soul Star Jamie Woon

September 10 (Vilnius)

British electronic soul artist Jamie Woon, who has returned to the stage after a lengthy creative break, will perform at Kablys in Vilnius on September 10. Often described as one of London’s soul pioneers, Woon will present his new album, “3, 10, Why, When”, together with his band. During his career, the British artist has collaborated with such notable names as Burial and Disclosure, so he certainly knows how to surprise his audience.

International Contemporary Circus Festival “Helium”

September 10–20 (Vilnius)

From September 10 to 20, Menų spaustuvė in Vilnius will come alive with the International Contemporary Circus Festival “Helium”. Over eleven days, Lithuanian and international creators will come together to present acrobatics, object theatre, illusion and other contemporary circus experiments. The festival programme will feature artists from Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, Finland and Lithuania.

Korean Pop Music Show “K-Pop Fever”

September 12 (Vilnius)

The global Korean pop music phenomenon will reach Vilnius on September 12, when the Compensa Concert Hall hosts the spectacular live show “K-Pop Fever”. A team of 12 singers and dancers arriving directly from London promises powerful choreography and vibrant visuals, with a programme featuring songs from “Demon Hunters” alongside hits by BTS, Blackpink, Rosé, Twice, Stray Kids, Ateez and other K-Pop stars.

Rally Championship “Rally Elektrėnai”

September 11–12 (Elektrėnai)

The roar of engines will take over Elektrėnai and its surroundings on September 11–12 for the Lithuanian Rally Championship event “Rally Elektrėnai”. Leading Lithuanian and international crews will compete on fast and technical stages in front of thousands of motorsport fans. The rally will officially open on Friday, with the main competition taking place on Saturday.

Musical “The Little Prince”

September 12 (Kaunas)

One of the world’s most widely read stories will come to life on the stage of Žalgirio Arena in Kaunas on September 12 with the hugely popular family musical “The Little Prince”. Based on Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s classic work, the production combines live music, orchestra, choir and projections to take audiences on a journey through themes of friendship, love and responsibility.

Kaunas Book Fair 2026

September 18–20 (Kaunas)

From September 18 to 20, Žalgirio Arena in Kaunas will temporarily transform into a major hub for books and literature. The second edition of the Kaunas Book Fair will bring together more than 70 publishers, over 100 literary and cultural events and dozens of authors. The programme will also include meetings with writers, discussions, quizzes, board games and activities for the whole family.

International Fireworks Festival “Fejerija”

September 19 (Kaunas)

After a four-year break, the sky will once again light up on September 19 for the 15th International Fireworks Festival “Fejerija”, which will be held at the S. Darius and S. Girėnas Aerodrome in Kaunas for the first time. Combining music, aviation and pyrotechnics, the event will feature professional teams from England, Poland and Thailand, while Lithuania will be represented by the pyrotechnics team Blikas.

US Superstar A$AP Rocky Makes His Lithuanian Debut

September 25 (Kaunas)

The month will end on a high note with one of contemporary hip-hop’s biggest names, A$AP Rocky, who will perform in Lithuania for the first time on September 25 at Žalgirio Arena in Kaunas. The American rapper, whose music has amassed more than 25 billion streams, has included Lithuania in his global “Don’t Be Dumb World Tour”. The Kaunas audience can expect new material alongside major hits such as “Praise The Lord (Da Shine)”.
