A 22-year-old Italian woman was shot
dead at a rave party in Switzerland on Saturday night.

The woman, Maria Spinelli, was killed at Arau in an attack in
which two other Italians were among five people slightly
injured.

Spinelli, a Roma woman, had studied at a hotel hospitality
school in Italy and had decided to try to make her way in the
sector in Switzerland.

She was a waitress.

Premier Giorgia Meloni voiced condolences and called for full
light to be shone on the incident.

A manhunt is on, also involving German police, and terrorism has
not been ruled out as a motive.

The attacker is believed to have been a young man.
