ABI’s “è cultura!” returns: the festival of banks’ and foundations’ heritage

è cultura! comes back for the 2026 edition to showcase and promote the artistic, historical and cultural assets preserved by banks, foundations and the Bank of Italy, making them accessible to the public through widespread local initiatives.

ABI says the festival aims to engage broader audiences, with special attention to younger generations. The previous edition recorded more than 80,000 participants across over 150 events and around 10 million views on social media.

Main dates: October 16–24, 2026 — exceptional openings of historic and modern venues;
2026 theme: “Culture takes you where you’d like to be”;
Highlight: second edition of the ABI study “GenZ & Alpha, the culture you don’t expect” on young people’s cultural behaviour;
Purpose: promote culture as a driver for growth and community cohesion.

Events will be staged throughout the year across regions, offering guided visits and special programmes designed to introduce wider audiences to collections and sites that are often little known to the general public.
