Comedy Open Mic in English happens every Wednesday — a free, relaxed evening where new and seasoned comedians alike take the mic, try out fresh material and occasionally discover in real time what works and what absolutely does not. Hosted by Sten-Erik Allikas, the show is entirely in English and open to anyone who wants to watch or, if the urge strikes, perform. Entry is free, though a donation bucket goes around at the end — the money funds travel around Estonia and more shows, so it is a good cause with a good return. Suggested 16+. Women Changing Cities is a talk built around a question that is harder to answer than it should be: how would our cities look if women had equal power to shape them? The answer, it turns out, is considerably better — and Melissa and Chris Bruntlett, urban mobility advocates and authors of Women Changing Cities: Global Stories of Urban Transformation, have spent considerable time collecting the evidence.
The evening features a live presentation on the stories and ideas behind the book — from women mayors, planners, advocates and policymakers in Paris, Bogotá, Manila, Montréal and beyond who are reclaiming streets, reimagining mobility and building safer, more inclusive public spaces, often against significant resistance — followed by a local panel on mobility and public space in Estonia, hosted in partnership with landscape architect and urban cycling advocate Aljona Galazan.
Melissa and Chris have previously written Building the Cycling City (2018) and Curbing Traffic (2021), and all three books will be available for purchase and signing on the night.

The Dating Show comes to Tallinn as part of Tallinn Fringe 2026, the format is simple and gloriously uncomfortable: brave singles meet on stage wearing blindfolds, talk, flirt and navigate a handful of questions they probably did not see coming, before raising a rose if they are interested or lowering it if they are not. Then the blindfolds come off. One final face-to-face moment, and a decision — leave together or walk away solo. The audience is involved throughout, which means the awkwardness is shared and the laughs are genuine. Part dating experiment, part improv comedy show and entirely unscripted.
Holding it all together are four hosts: Ben McWilliams (USA), whose friendly volume sets the tone; Aistė Būtaitė (Lithuania), described by the organisers as the best bad influence you will ever meet; Jme May (UK), keeping things from fully spiralling; and Elena Pranevičiutė (Lithuania), running the background and keeping the other three in check.

Richard’s Magic Case is back by popular demand — 50 minutes of illusions, surprises and the kind of humour that works equally well for a five-year-old and the adults who brought them. Richard Samarüütel, one of Estonia’s most entertaining magicians and a performer since 2006, has built a show around a single mysterious, well-travelled case that appears to have its own agenda entirely. Nobody knows what comes out of it next, which keeps every moment feeling genuinely fresh rather than rehearsed — and the mix of astonishing illusions and playful comedy means the room tends to be laughing and gasping in roughly equal measure. The show is in English, recommended for ages 5 and up and entirely suitable for families, locals or visitors who happen to be in Tallinn and want to spend 50 minutes being pleasantly baffled.

Sunday Hike with Maria is a three-hour guided walk starting in front of Rocca al Mare Hotel. This is a relaxed outdoor meetup — a chance to step away from the city for a few hours, enjoy some fresh air and explore the area in good company. Comfortable walking shoes and a bottle of water are recommended. No experience or special equipment required — just show up and enjoy the walk.
