AI at scale, applied to markets

The release comes as BBVA continues to scale artificial intelligence across the Group. The bank has many AI use cases in production and a global AI Transformation area focused on accelerating how the technology is deployed across the organization.

“What we are introducing today is just the beginning of where we can take ePricer.”

BBVA’s broader ambition is to use AI to create financial experiences that are more personalized, accessible and proactive. Within CIB, ePricer is a concrete example of that strategy moving into the day-to-day tools institutional clients use to interact with financial markets.

“AI is opening up new possibilities for how clients interact with financial markets,” said Daniel Hernandez, Head of eConnectivity at BBVA CIB. “Our focus is on turning that technology into practical capabilities that make the client experience better, be it through client solutions where AI is embedded or enhancing our service to them as we apply AI on our day to day too. What we are introducing today is just the beginning of where we can take ePricer.”

The direction for ePricer is toward an increasingly intelligent platform that does more than return a price. It can help clients discover ideas, monitor live positions and respond as markets move. As more BBVA Intelligence capabilities are introduced, that role will continue to expand.
