Lori Loughlin has returned to social media after taking a break in the wake of the college admissions scandals.

The “Full House” star enlisted help from her co-stars John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, Scott Weinger, Andrea Barber, and Dave Coulier to announce her return.
Playing off her character of Aunt Becky on the show, aka Rebecca Donaldson, aka Becky Katsopolis, the cast all say “Wake Up, San Francisco!”
Loughlin then appears on screen “in character” saying, “Hi, I’m Rebecca Donaldson, and I’m welcoming myself back to the show. Welcome back, Becky. Why, thank you, Becky!”
The late Bob Saget also appears in the clip with a snippet of him as Danny Tanner hosting “Wake Up” before Loughlin says, “And I’m Rebecca Donaldson.”

Loughlin’s Instagram page has been cleared of all past posts. Her profile reads “Actress. Mom. #GarageSaleMysteries on @hallmarkchannel September 19.”
The actresses’ return to social media comes seven years after she and her now-estranged husband Mossimo Giannulli were indicted by the FBI for their participation the college admissions scandal known as Operation Varsity Blues.
The couple pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud after being accused of paying $500,000 in bribes to secure their daughters, Olive Jade and Bella, admission to the University of Southern California as crew team participants, though neither girl played the sport.

Loughlin was sentenced to two months in federal prison, Giannulli received a five-month sentence. She was released in December 2020, and he was released in April 2021.
They separated in 2025 after nearly 208 years of marriage.
Loughlin has never addressed the scandal directly, though she seemed to allude to it while discussing forgiveness in a 2024 interview with First for Women magazine.

“No one is perfect. We all make mistakes,” she told the outlet. “So I was always told to let stuff go. And I think for your own health, you have to let things go because you can’t hang on to negativity. Life’s too short.”
She did seem to poke fun at herself in an appearance on the final season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” playing a version of herself that cheats at golf and fibs about needing handicap parking for her golf cart.
