I’m reminded of the days of Verhofstadt. And that time Willy Claes had to berate all of VLD for being unwilling to compromise.
Reminds me of my grandparents talking about politicians who didn’t experience WWII or the direct aftermath of it. Those people who did, **know** why compromising is important.
People these days never had to experience that.
Yeah I’m sure a split in what parts of your party is doing internally will do wonders to regain your electorate’s trust!
