Come on oil and gas workers that’s not the right time!
Russia shuts key pipeline for “maintenance”
I always support the right to strike, but this just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. These are some of the best paid and most priviliged employees in Norway (and thus Europe), striking because they don’t want to accept the same wage adjustment that pretty much every single working norwegian got (3,7-3,8%). Their average member easily takes home way north of 150k € a year whilst working 2 weeks on, 3 weeks off. Now they escalate an energy crisis caused by war in Europe on a scale we haven’t seen for decades, and their strike will actively make things worse for hundreds of millions of Europeans. No sympathy from me.
