A Republican Congressman has accused Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor of committing sex crimes in the United States.
The former Duke of York, 66, was named by Thomas Massie during a speech in the House of Representatives about the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Mr Massie, a leading figure in the push to release the first batch of Epstein files, also claimed former Barclays boss Jes Staley and magician David Copperfield were alleged Epstein “coconspirators”.
“We want perpetrators of these crimes to be investigated and prosecuted,” he alleged.
“And Prince Andrew, who committed sex crimes in the United States.”
“Perhaps hearing these names will shame the Department of Justice into delivering justice.”

Mr Mountbatten-Windsor, who is King Charles III’s brother, has always maintained his innocence and has never been charged over the allegations.
Mr Massie has emerged as a staunch critic of the Justice Department’s handling of the Epstein scandal, and is currently seeking to pass legislation that would force the release of any additional documents.
President Donald Trump has heavily criticised Mr Massie, describing his colleague as a “bum”, “loser” and the “worst Republican Congressman in history”.
Last year, a congressional panel investigating Epstein’s crimes summoned Mr Mountbatten-Windsor to give evidence, giving the former Duke until November 20 to respond.
“Rich and powerful men have evaded justice for far too long. Now, former Prince Andrew has the opportunity to come clean and provide justice for the survivors,” Congressman Robert Garcia said at the time.
Mr Mountbatten-Windsor ignored the summons, prompting heavy criticism over his silence.
The former royal has been described as a close friend of Epstein’s between 1999 and 2008.

Virginia Giuffre, who died by suicide at her Western Australia property in 2025, had alleged she was trafficked by Epstein to Mr Mountbatten-Windsor as a teenager, and that he had sexually abused her on three occasions.
He has always denied the claim and reached an out-of-court settlement with Ms Giuffre in 2022. It contained no admission of liability or apology.
Earlier this year, an email from Epstein’s co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell was released, and appeared to depict a photograph of Mr Mountbatten-Windsor and Ms Giuffre.
The former prince, who was pictured with his arm around a young Ms Giuffre’s waist, had previously implied the picture had been doctored and claimed he had never met her.
Last year, Ms Giuffre’s memoir was posthumously released. The book alleged Mr Mountbatten-Windsor “believed having sex with me was his birthright.”
It also claimed the pair met on multiple occasions, including at an orgy on Epstein’s private island.
Mr Mountbatten-Windsor stepped back from royal duties in 2019 amid growing public backlash following a disastrous interview with the BBC’s Newsnight program.
In October 2025, he announced he would give up his title of Duke of York and honours following a discussion with the king.
He later had his royal and military titles stripped and was told to leave the royal lodge.
In February 2026, he was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in office, related to the alleged sharing of confidential government material with Epstein while Mr Mountbatten-Windsor served as a UK special trade envoy between 2001 and 2011.
H was released under investigation and has not been charged.
Epstein died in a New York prison cell on 10 August 2019 as he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges.
His accomplice, British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, is serving a 20-year prison sentence in the US for luring young girls for Epstein to sexually abuse.
