This happen today, outside of Irish Cancer Society charity shop. I just left it there literally for less than a minute (as a did before) and it was gone in seconds. The scooter wasn’t locked (I know I should lock it). I’ve reported it to Garda.
Just wanted to warn others from making the same mistake as I did.
That’s outside an Irish cancer society charity shop. The owner of the electric scooter was probably inside buying something.
Horrible thing to happen to them having that stolen
Hes missing some blue shoes
All it’s missing is a big sign saying “steal me”.
That guy couldn’t look any more suspicious
The cheapest one I’ve seen is like 300 or so, no way I’m leaving something like that without at least a little lock or some other deterrent.
Not saying of course it’s grand to nick things, but there always was the opportunistic thief.
Was kinda asking for it in fairness
Yeah. Pretty dopey to just leave it sitting out there unattended, and unlocked.
They should do baitscooters. Have it hooked up to the national grid and fry the cunt when he gets on.
Another member of the Rathbeale bloods on the roam
What sort of clown leaves something like that unlocked on the street! Lol, jesus christ
A growing future burden on a tax payer right here.
Don’t worry he won’t get far.
The Garda will stop him for no licensee, insurance or tax while operating a motorised vehicle in a public space!
I feel bad for the owner and all but honestly what did they expect. I would lock my bike anywhere I go in Dublin if it’s going to be unattended. Same should apply here. Too many little scrotes around.
‘What happened ? Dublin happened to it’.
I know it’s suppose to be summer but it’s not shorts weather – that’s all I have to say
Yeah your man is a scumbag but what sorta fool leaves their scooter outside unsecured in Dublin?
He’s looking for his lost horse 🐎..he’s after the Jesse James gang.
He looked ready to pounce
The comments in this thread are victim blaming from top to bottom. Should you be careful? Yes. Is it ever your fault? No
Op is a moron for just leaving it there.
Who’s the biggest twat? The one stealing it or the one riding it?
Not gona lie I don’t have too much sympathy for the girl. Leaving a scooter unattended in Ireland is one thing but in fucking Swords?
