ATHENS – A 43-year-old Greek man and his partner, a 37-year-old German woman, are to testify next Tuesday concerning the death of the frozen infant found in the apartment they leased in the Athens district of Kypseli.
They both dispute the findings of the coroner that the baby, whose frozen body bore multiple stab wounds, died as of criminal actions.
A 26-year-old Afghan national who claimed to be in a relationship with the couple’s underage daughter will also testify on the same day.
All three have been remanded in custody in relation to drug-trafficking charges.
The couple face additional charges of intentional homicide of a family member, as well as of giving false testimony and posession of ammunition.
The Afghan man has been charged with performing sexual acts with a minor over and under the age of 12, in addition to charges of possessing ammunition and giving false testimony.
