Displaying my low geographic IQ here, but how do we constitute an island? Obviously it isn’t relevant to country borders on a land mass else Great Britain wouldn’t be on this list, but why isn’t the continent on Europe one big island?
For bonus points, explaining a peninsula would also be savage
