BERLIN TWP. – A Berlin Township man previously convicted in two stalking cases is now charged in a third.
According to a Mahoning County grand jury report, 50-year-old Jamie Longnecker is charged with two fourth-degree felony counts of menacing by stalking and four first-degree misdemeanor counts of telephone harassment.
According to the indictment, Longnecker’s latest offenses took place between June 10 and June 12.
Court records do not show arraignment information for Longnecker at this time.
These new charges come not long after Longnecker completed a three-year prison sentence imposed in July of 2023.
In that case, Longnecker was convicted of sending numerous victims unwanted mail, with some pieces containing sexually explicit images.
He was also handed the same sentence in 2012 for similar crimes.
The circumstances behind Longnecker’s latest charges are unknown at this time. 21 News is working to find out more.
