ANG | Forbes Global Properties Romania is entering a new stage of development with the launch of four specialized business lines – Retail, Office, Land and Logistics – further strengthening its position as an integrated real estate advisory platform in Romania.
The expansion reflects ANG’s strategy to respond to an increasingly interconnected real estate market, where property decisions are closely linked to broader business, investment and growth objectives. By bringing together expertise across multiple real estate segments, the company aims to provide clients with a more comprehensive perspective on opportunities and a deeper understanding of the market dynamics shaping their decisions.
Retail & Office: Connecting Real Estate with Business Strategy
The Retail & Office division brings together two segments where real estate plays an increasingly strategic role in business performance, growth and customer experience. In Retail, ANG will work with property owners, developers and retailers across the full spectrum of location and commercial decisions – from identifying and assessing opportunities to market analysis and negotiations.
In Office, the company will support both owners and developers, as well as occupiers looking to redefine their workplace strategies through relocation, consolidation or optimization. The approach will consider not only location and space efficiency, but also accessibility, flexibility, employee needs and the overall workplace experience.
Land & Logistics: Unlocking Potential, Creating Opportunities
The Land & Logistics division combines expertise in land transactions with dedicated advisory services for the industrial and logistics sectors, with a focus on identifying opportunities at an early stage and unlocking the potential of each property. For Land, ANG will assess factors including location, accessibility, infrastructure, planning regulations and market demand in order to identify the most relevant development scenarios. In Logistics, the focus will be on the strategic requirements of companies, developers and owners, including connectivity, operational efficiency, scalability and speed of implementation.
By bringing these two areas together, ANG aims to connect land and logistics opportunities with the wider development, occupancy and investment strategies of its clients.
Strengthening the Team with New Real Estate Expertise
The four new business lines will be led by Irina Albu, who brings more than 25 years of experience across real estate consultancy, development, leasing, commercial strategy and asset performance.
In her new role, Irina Albu will oversee the commercial development and positioning of the new divisions, expand ANG’s portfolio of mandates and further strengthen relationships with investors, developers, property owners, retailers and corporate occupiers.
“Bringing Irina Albu into the ANG | Forbes Global Properties Romania team is an important step in strengthening our market position and supporting the transformation currently taking place across the real estate sector. Our expansion into these new business lines reflects our ambition to build a company that understands our clients’ objectives in depth and provides the expertise they need to navigate increasingly complex real estate decisions,” says Alexandru Manea, Founder of ANG | Forbes Global Properties Romania.
With more than 25 years of experience in real estate, Irina Albu has worked across consultancy and directly with property owners, developers and expanding companies, developing expertise spanning residential, office, retail, leasing, development and commercial strategy.
A significant part of her career was spent at Colliers International, where she built and led the residential division before moving into the Office sector, managing complex relocation and development projects.
Her retail expertise was further developed at Liebrecht & Wood and subsequently through a senior management role in retail real estate, where she spent more than 11 years overseeing commercial strategy, leasing and complex repositioning processes for a shopping centre. More recently, she managed the identification and assessment of expansion opportunities for a retail network, reviewing a portfolio of more than 40 potential locations.
“The real estate market is far more interconnected than it may appear. A piece of land can become the foundation for a retail, logistics or mixed-use development; a retailer’s expansion can create new development opportunities; while a company’s relocation can influence the strategy of an entire asset. Our role is to understand these connections, anticipate their implications and turn market intelligence into tangible opportunities for our clients,” says Irina Albu, Head of Commercial Real Estate, ANG | Forbes Global Properties Romania.
Local Expertise, Global Perspective
ANG’s exclusive affiliation with Forbes Global Properties in Romania adds an international dimension to its expanding platform, providing access to global standards of representation and positioning, as well as connections with investors and partners across key international markets.
At the same time, the company’s deep understanding of the Romanian market remains central to its approach, enabling ANG to combine local insight with an international perspective when advising clients on real estate opportunities.
Through its expanded structure, ANG | Forbes Global Properties Romania is strengthening its role beyond traditional brokerage, bringing together market intelligence, sector expertise and strategic advisory to help clients make more informed real estate decisions – from identifying and evaluating opportunities to negotiating, implementing and ultimately unlocking value.
