Kevon Looney praised Luka Doncic following the five-day minicamp organized in Slovenia for the Los Angeles Lakers. “I’ve been in the league for a while, and I’d never done anything like that before,” he said on ESPN Radio’s Mason & Ireland.

Doncic hosted almost the entire team in Ljubljana from August 20-24, combining practices with group activities. According to Looney, the trip allowed the players to better understand the background and personality of the Lakers’ new leader.

“That shows he really wants to win. He’s a great player and a great leader,” Looney added. “We’re going to follow him and run through a wall for him.”
