Chris Pincher: Sunak and Javid quit cabinet as PM admits ‘mistake’

  1. As seen from the continent, apart from personal feelings about what is basically their ‘internal affairs’, I’m more worried about how this will affect the NIP.

  2. Tough times for Boris. Not sure if he has the backing of a majority of his party now. With such disunity it is unlikely that Tories could keep the gains and win the next general election. He either has to pull a political masterstroke to re-unite his party and convince the public he is the man for the job quickly, or let someone else take over.

  3. So the cunt and a liar gets to stay but 2 guys who were not fucking everything they touched resign? Keep those two and kick that fucking asshole out to the curb

  4. I think it’s clear that this is the end for Johnson, but I’m curious how exactly is he going. I don’t think he will ever resign, he will be dragged kicking and screaming from Downing Street.

How will he go, then? The Tories change their rules and do another internal vote of no confidence? Maybe Labour calls a general vote of no confidence in parliament, and dares the Tories to stand by Johnson?

Or, since we’re living in a comedy show, Johnson calls an early general election to make the whole party go down with him as vengeance?
