The word “war” creates mental images of death, destruction, hopelessness, conflict, pain, battles, blood and guts. What kind of a person chooses war?
“Choice” — a beautiful word. It creates the mental images of freedom, room to navigate, opportunities and possibilities. If you have a choice, choose correctly. Choosing good over evil is not rocket science.
“War of choice?” What kind of person chooses war? What kind of person votes repeatedly to support a president’s “war of choice”? What kind of person supports a “war of choice” when dead Iowans are shipped home from such a war? Ashley Hinson, Chuck Grassley, Joni Ernst and our other representatives in Congress are making the wrong choices. Their choices are reasons to vote them out.
