HH The Amir Receives Phone Call from Prime Minister of Norway

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a phone call from HE Jonas Gahr Støre, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway.

At the outset of the call, HH The Amir expressed his sincere condolences to the Prime Minister on the passing of HM King Harald V, wishing the Royal Family and the friendly Norwegian people patience and solace.

For his part, HE the Norwegian Prime Minister expressed his appreciation to HH The Amir for his sentiments, affirming the strength of the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and his keenness to further strengthen and develop them in a manner that serves their common interests.

The call also covered the bilateral relations and ways to support and enhance them across various fields, as well as developments in the Middle East, particularly the Palestinian cause, and international efforts aimed at achieving peace, security, and stability in the region.
