Robyn Archibald was crowned the first-ever winner of the Ayrshire regional final of the Miss Great Britain competition.
Twenty-three inspiring women from across Ayrshire took to the stage, impressing judges and a packed audience of 400 guests with their confidence, elegance and commitment to making a difference in their communities.
The evening culminated in the crowning of three winners, with Robyn from Ayr being named Miss Great Britain Ayrshire 2026.
Robyn admits she was in “complete shock” after being crowned the winner on the night.
She said: “The night itself was amazing with hundreds of people watching, and everything was done to perfection.
“We did interviews in the morning and then three walking rounds on the night. I really wanted to win but honestly didn’t expect it.
“The next day I had loads of messages and I still don’t think I’ve replied to everyone yet.
“People don’t realise it’s all very charity driven and it meant I could continue raising funds for Cancer Research UK, which is a cause close to my heart.”
Following her win, Robyn has been raising funds for the charity after her dad and grandpa were diagnosed with cancer last year.
She explained: “I’ve been going to appointments with them and it made me realise what people are going through.
“I wanted to give something back, so a big part of my Miss Great Britain journey has been raising funds and awareness.

“I’ve raised around £2,400 so far, which included a croquet day in Loans back in August which went so well.
“It is quite niche but my gran and grandpa have always been a part of the croquet club and societies.
“My grandpa got us all into it from a really young age and we would always do a family and friends day, so this year all money went to Cancer Research UK.
“I’ve also got the Glasgow Half Marathon in October and I’m doing an abseil down in London a few days before too.”
Robyn has now set her sights on the Miss Great Britain national competition, set to take place next month in Leicester.
She said: “Winning the Ayrshire regional heat has been fantastic. It’s given me opportunities with businesses and also the chance to get into modelling.
“The national competition is a whole other world and will require a lot of practicing before then.
“I am really looking forward to the competition and the chance to meet people from all across the UK.
“Ava Morgan, who is from Ayr and was crowned Miss Great Britain two years ago, has been so helpful during the whole process.”
