One person suffered injuries after a yacht collided with a fishing vessel near the Gulf of Kechries in the Corinth Region of southern Greece on Saturday, September 5.
The Hellenic Coast Guard said the incident between the unnamed Malta-registered yacht and a fishing vessel crewed by two Greek nationals occurred on Saturday evening (local time).
The yacht’s crew deployed a tender and took the two Greek fishermen on board following the collision.
One fisherman was reportedly unconscious when he was brought to hospital later that evening. The nature and extent of his injuries remain unknown.
