So 3 more months of uncontrollable inflation nation before the government pretends to do something about it
Looking forward to being disappointed by the budget a month early. Terrific
Translation: we don’t have things under control and maybe the opposition has a point – we need to start planning now because we have been lying out are arse about how stable the economy is – FF/FG
Did they not vote against an early budget just last week and claim there is no chance of it being brought forward?
So this looks to me that they know that this winter is going to be horrific for cost of living especially electricity and bringing the budget forward to september is an attempt to give people some good news before the first electric bills of winter arrive in October/Nov.
How do they expect pensioners and people on disability to keep on top of their bills for the entire summer with zero help
Not even a week since they criticised SF for wanting to move the budget sooner.
