President Donald Trump, among many others, is scheduled to speak at the Republican midterm convention to rally support ahead of Election Day, as the GOP pushes to retain control of Congress.

Trump is scheduled to speak on both nights at the convention-style rally at American Airlines Center on Wednesday and Thursday. The convention’s packed schedule has Vice President JD Vance delivering Wednesday’s main address, while Trump will provide closing remarks Thursday.

The Republican National Committee isn’t a mini Trump convention. The event is expected to draw 20,000 attendees each night and has raised concerns about out-of-pocket costs for the City of Dallas. City officials estimate event-related expenses to run about $2.5 million. The majority of the bill goes to covering Dallas police costs as officers provide heightened security around American Airlines Center and Victory Park.
