Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is facing a major blow as his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, could be set for a “delusional move”. The 66-year-old has reportedly been weighing up “many approaches” from producers keen for her to tell her version of her alleged role in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
Much like her former husband, Andrew, Sarah has seen her reputation in tatters over their connection to the late paedophile. The Sun recently reported that she is hoping to take control of the narrative.
Speaking on the latest episode of Talk TV’s The Jeremy Kyle Breakfast Show, royal expert Dickie Arbiter said of the possible interview, “Fergie will get a soft ride. It’s just a mere fact that she’s sitting down with them, pouring her heart out, saying, ‘Poor me. Poor me. Yes, I am entitled, but I am still poor me’. It beggars belief that she’s actually got the audacity to put herself up.”
Host Jeremy Kyle then said, “I’ve met her on several occasions [and] I do believe that she will never recover, as I don’t believe [Andrew] will. Of course, if you are desperate for money, you do a TV interview, you agree to it.
“I mean, it could end up being for her as Newsnight was for him. A bad, bad decision. But no secret that she’s going to come back, which to me, is, again, a massive story, isn’t it?”
Also speaking on the show, Arbiter told Kyle, “It is a massive story, and she’s delusional. She’s in cuckoo land. She’s been dumped by her charities. She’s been dumped by her publishers. They’re not going to tear up the various correspondents dumping her to start all over again. They are not going to touch her with a barge pole.
Speaking of a potential interview, Kyle added, “That would obviously open up a horror story that is Andrew. I’m not saying that it’s gone quiet, but that will reinvigorate the press’s approach to that… The only person you can blame is Andrew if you can’t blame yourself. And she’ll never do that.”
Speaking of Sarah, the source told The Sun said: “Fergie has been bombarded with requests from all over the world to do sit-down interviews, especially with the big streamers, to tell her side of the story.
“She is looking at her options. For her, it’s more about retaining editorial control rather than making money.”
“Sarah has a tight-knit group of friends and is extremely well connected,” the insider continued. “She would only allow someone she knew well to tell her story.”
