A new library in Brown County will be opening soon.
A grand opening ceremony hosted by Community First Credit Union will be held at the county’s new Denmark Branch Library on North Wall Street from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23rd.
The festivities begin with a presentation and raising of the American flag by the VFW Auxiliary and a performance of the national anthem before the ribbon is officially cut.
Guest speakers will also deliver speeches, including elected officials, project representatives, and others.
After the ribbon cutting, attendees can take a self-guided tour, sign up for a library card, and enjoy a carnival and board games.
Guests will also be able to register for a gym or fitness center membership, see the Denmark Community Cupboard’s new space, and more.
Brown County representatives say the Denmark Branch Library’s new location has been a vital part of the community for over a century and will continue to serve its purpose for years to come.
The library will be open Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Fridays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
