Every time I get a booster shot i get sick for 2-3 days… But if it can help…

Everyone I know who works in the medical sector or is immunocompromised has already had 2 boosters. Timewise this doesn’t add up.

Ik wil wel. Vaccinatie suckt (doordat ik me twee dagen kak voel), maar corona suckt nog meer (doordat ik me meer dan drie weken kak voel).
Well, the building they used as vaccination center now is filled with paintings and statues… so where will they do that?

Weird thing is I hear a lot of vaccination tiredness. People that were eager to get vaccinated at first now seem to be hesitant for no good reason other than “We’ve been through this shit for more than 2 years now. I’m done with it.”
I get that vaccines are not very good at protecting you from contracting covid but they are still a powerful weapon in preventing serious illness so unless you had serious side effects the first time I see no good reason why not to get the booster. And “I’m done with it.” sounds like a very lame reason.
Welp, I’m not in the country at the time. Hopefully I can still get it when I return in January.
can someone explain; during the early days of covid vaccionation research all the experts were touting the fact that with MRNA vaccines we would be able to make variant-specific vaccines in the matter of weeks. We are more than a year later and we are still using the exact same ones.
What happened?
Eh, at this point I’m going to put them in the same category as flu shots. A good idea for older people or people with health concerns, not needed but not a bad idea either for everyone else. Not sure if I’ll get this one, probably not.

Nog 1tje voor op m’n stempelkaart, ik doe mee. Hoe meer vaccins hoe liever.
I’m a simple guy tbh, to be honest I’m scared to have more of that shit in my body. I work hard, I’m never that sick that I can’t work. Actually I rarely need to visit a doctor. I did take the previous shots though. Guess I’ll take one for the team now, also. It it adds up to the greater good, I’ll do it. But to be fair I rather wouldn’t get another one..

I recently got diagnosed with IBD (colitis ulcerosa to be more exact) and if my current meds aren’t working, they might put me on immunosuppressants, because it’s an autoimmune disease.I’m not looking forward to an autumn or winter during which I can’t protect myself from Covid.
