What is wrong with the water that comes out of the tap?
For Poland it’s probably 90% carbonated water.
People who drink bottles water in the Netherlands on a regular basis are just weird. Often the water in the bottles is from the exact same source as tapwater.
I assume for Germany a lot of it is sparkling water.
I always get confused when I see tourist here carrying 2-3 massive bottles of water.
Is there any stats on how much of Europe has poor water quality to the point you can’t drink it?
So if we use 20 liters/capita in Denmark, how many idiots/capital does that translate to?
I think Swedes generally consider bottled water to be a waste of money. I remember hearing some years ago that even some of the bottled water sold is considered to be of too poor quality to be allowed as tap water, but can’t confirm this statement.
When I went to Latvia I was told to avoid tap water and stick to bottled water though.
At least the uk can do something right 👍
Hotter countries go more for bottled water on the go? Some outliers though… What’s up with Germany?
Also Italy get your shit together you’re not THAT hot.
If only the countries in EU had excellent and potable tap water… they could reduce SO much plastic waste, it would make the ban on drinking straws look ridiculous in comparison.
