Due to continuous heavy rain at Vojens Speedway Center, the FIM Jury has elected to abandon the 2026 Deluxe Homeart FIM Speedway GP of Denmark – Vojens after 20 heats.
Despite pausing racing in the hope that the rain would subside and carrying out track work, the event was halted in the interests of rider safety.
As leader after 20 heats, Great Britain star Robert Lambert wins the 2026 Deluxe Homeart FIM Speedway GP of Denmark – Vojens – his second victory in three visits to the home of Danish speedway.
Twenty points for Lambert, coupled with three scored in the afternoon sprint race, means he now leads the Speedway GP World Championship on 142 points, with Poland’s reigning world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik second on 141 and Aussie icon Brady Kurtz third on 139.
All three riders are now guaranteed to finish on the 2026 Speedway GP World Championship podium and will battle it out for the sport’s biggest prize at the DEWALT FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Torun on September 26.
Lambert is joined on the Deluxe Homeart FIM Speedway GP of Denmark – Vojens podium by Danish star Leon Madsen in second place, with Australia’s Max Fricke ranked third.
