European thinktank adds U.S. to list of “backsliding” democracies for 1st time

  1. Macron is not wrong when he speaks for a stronger and united UE to stand against these backwardness winds from far West and far East.

  2. Fyi, this isn’t exclusive to the USA alone. In fact US allies in the last 10 years have been the largest drivers of democratic decline. They have backslid twice as much on average as non US allies.

    So you know what, maybe America and its allies do actually export democracy to the rest of the world. Turns out though that they shut down all the democracy factories and are currently running a democracy exchange deficit.
