Now people are vandalizing Swiss trains with American political statements. Will someone please think of the children?

  1. I feel like it’s more an isolated event rather than something general. I’ve seldom seen vandalism inside SBB trains.

Also, no words are offensive, is it that bad for the children ? Most of them wouldn’t understand it either way…

  2. I really condemn the vandalism, but as far as the statement goes, most people probably have no idea what it means, some won’t even read it and some will think hard to find out what happened Nov 9th.

  3. I’m not a fan of graffiti either but i don’t find this even half as bad as the SVP posters that I’ve seen on the streets.

  4. On a train from sion to visp I saw 1488 etched into the table so…not sure if it’s necessarily american vandalism we should be worrying about

  5. A few months back there were some bits of antivax and anti-mask graffiti with very American wording. It pisses me off that their stupid blinkered attitudes have such global reach.

There’s some saying *Resist* and *fuck the police*… You’re in Lausanne, not Detroit.

  6. I love this country so much for not having millions of cameras all over the place watching my every move, but I have a feeling these times are going to pass during my lifetime.

  7. This is not a political statement. We call this conspiracy theory. Same category like flat earthers, anti vaxxer and so on…

  8. It’s “an inside job”, you fucking vandalizing disgrace of people. If you’re going to do that, do it right.

  9. As a American veteran who grew up in the shadow of that horrible day and who’s uncle who’d lost friends while working at the Pentagon, I have to say that 9/11 conspiracies are just retarded and total bullshit and I have nothing but contempt for the theorists

  10. You’d be surprised at how many non-us citizens believe this and push this message for everything bad happening in their country

  11. Most kids these days couldnt care less for 9/11 they went through a pandemic and a war in europe.
