1. Would the UKs economy and/or government fail even more if it didn’t have the input of Russian money?

   Shock.

3. I don’t see much point fiddling around the edges. We either properly sanction Russia, and that means no more gas. Or we don’t. We in this case being the whole of Europe, I’m not interested in being told we don’t use Russian gas, we sit in the exact same market and it’s all fungible.

   And we seem to have decided that we are NOT willing to pay the price of actually using less gas.

   So why bother with pointless side sanctions?

4. You mean the Russian-linked, Russian-funded Conservative Party won’t take action against Russian money?

   Treasonous self-interest, taking money from a hostile foreign power.
