There are a lot of declarations about this:
* There is confusion about if subtitules would be enough or if it needs to be dubbed too. The text of the agreement is ambiguous by design
* They will also need to dedicate 5% of their revenue to productions in Spain.
* There is a compromise to force streaming service to “produce content that they offer in those official language at least a 6%”, that everybody is pretending that it means something different. Productions recorded directly in Catalan, dubbing their own productions or whatever. and some people want This can be understood as this means that they would have to dedicate 6% of that 5% to productions recorded in Catalan.

I’ll like them to be forced to offer 100%vof their content in Spanish. Is hate when I wanna watch a show but is not dubbed
The intentions might be good, but this will have zero practical impact. They will find the minimum way to meet the regulations — auto-translating some subs, maybe play a Catalan song in the background, or just do something quick low quality filler. Whatever.
At the same time, if someone comes up with a good show in Catalan, it will be made regardless of if there’s a regulation or not. I mean, the most popular Netflix series of all time is in Korean.
