There’s a lot wrong with this but their perception of us is usually drunkards, pubs, the bullshit leprechaun speak they use for us in American movies and a few other really tired stereotypes.
The labels for a lot of the rest of Europe are also fairly wrong. Most glaringly obvious is Denmark, which is cheap smokes and drink to them. Anything south of Germany should just be labelled “Syden”.

Any Norwegians I have met call us lost Norwegians as our culture has lots of similarities and their ancestors use to a gap year over here.
