the audio from this game has haunted me since age 10. my cousins and i found this norwegian flash game website forever ago called 123spill.com (don’t ask how we found it as kids growing up in texas usa but we did) and played the heck out of it, but we never knew what they were saying. i’m pretty sure they’re speaking norwegian, but there’s always the chance i’m wrong i guess.
can any of you nordic folk please help me translate? 😖 i can’t even tell you how many nights i laid awake as a child imagining the bowling ball guy as a sleep paralysis demon. why is he so angry? why are all of them so angry?

What a story! I remember spending hours on 123spill in elementary and middle school, but I had no idea it was internationally famous.
I can’t remember this game though, and it’s actually danish, not norwegian. It seems to be based on [a 2004 comedy series called “Rockerne”](https://www.dfi.dk/viden-om-film/filmdatabasen/film/rockerne), which you can view in its entirety [here](https://www.dr.dk/bonanza/serie/423/rockerne). The danish language [is objectively hard as hell to understand](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18588717/), so though the words are mostly the same as in norwegian, I really can’t figure out what they are saying here. Try someone who was forced to actually learn that convoluted mess, like /r/denmark
123spill now that brings back memories.
Thanks for digging this up. I played this the early teens too, and found the incomprehensible danish to be just random grunting and gargling. Now I can hear it actually is a spoken language 🥲
