New Zealand shares ended broadly unchanged on Friday’s close after a flat day of trading on Wall Street and a selloff in bonds.
The S&P/NZX 50 was little changed to close at 13,811.11.
Overnight, the Nasdaq Composite and the S&P 500 remained broadly unchanged, while the Dow Jones declined 0.3%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield was last at 5.181%, while the 30-year Treasury yield reached 5.47%.
In corporate news, 2 Cheap Cars Group (NZE:2CC) said acceptances for Sena & Co’s takeover offer have reached 13.525% of its total issued shares as of Thursday.
Serko (ASX:SKO, NZE:SKO) said Chief Financial Officer Shane Sampson will step down from the position, effective March 2027.
