Parents have a right to know what our children are taught

  1. Daily mail manages to froth at the mouth against BLLM, trans people and Catholics all in one article, and I just skimmed it there’s probably more.

  2. *Clare Page, the mother in question, had complained before about lessons on race, sex and gender, and came to believe her daughter was being indoctrinated*

Indoctrinated in what way? Learning about race and gender is bad?

  3. Well, honestly if the ***now*** parents had been paying attention while they were in school then they’d actually know WTF their kids are being taught.

  4. How about a national curriculum on Sex Ed written by experts to make sure young adults know how it all works? Oh no, that’s not what you want? You want to control what people learn? Oh, well fuck you then.

  5. Err well the parents could always try asking their child. Yes they have the right to know what they are been taught, but I do not think they have the right to decide what they are taught. We have enough stupid people in the country as it is without letting parents decide what they want their children to know

  6. Anyone else feel like she won’t want to see the lesson plans for studying maths, science, or shakespeare, just the stuff she’s upset about?

I mean you need the right to be involved in your children’s education, but the *obligation* is just too much.
