How does someone like this end up as a judge and further how do we go back and check past rulings for stuff like this that may have been missed? I mean come on.
Gotta love that cross just sitting in the courtroom. I wonder how Jesus feels about this verdict.
> League MP Laura Ravetto said the sentence was “spine-chilling”.
She said “the girl, who clearly voiced her non-consent to sex, supposedly ‘induced the man to dare’ by leaving the toilet door open and being drunk. It’s aberrant”.
5-Star Movement MP Maria Edera Spadoni said the verdict “sets the fight against gender violence back by light years”.
She said magistrates needed to be “retrained” on the issue.
I think politicians need to shut the fuck up when it comes to court decisions. There are particularities to every case, particularities to every law. If the man is guilty or not is up to the court to decide, not politicians, not journalists, not internet SJWs.
I would look into the judge’s private life for similar behavior, someone agreeing to this line of defense must be tainted as well.
For better context: there were no witness of the violence, nor any physical proof.
Friends of both have seen the woman crying, and the man tranquil.
The zipper of the woman’s pants was broken.
In short, it’s little more than she sayshe says… except the guy DID say she was at least to some degree drunk.
Which basically automatically makes it rape.
Plus, the Cassazione is almost undoubtely going to have the trial repeated because the motivation of the sentence just makes no sense.
Close your doors……all the way.
Whenever I read about rulings like this, I always assume the judge himself is probably a rapist too.
