Anyone who works in the NHS will laugh at the sheer optimism behind this. It will not happen on time and it will not work as intended or lack the necessary humans on the other side. Plus no clue how they plan to make pre-op apps magically digital.

Why does this need to be a fucking app, what is wrong with just doing it on a website?

Here’s my guess. It will be way over budget, late, full of bugs and exploits upon first deployment then outsourced to Google. Also, the overall cost will be at least double that of the training for new doctors and nurses.
