The PD’s used to be the neo-liberal brake on FF and were in effect an arm of FF having split from the party in the early 80s.
It just strikes me lately how much FF now resemble the PD’s under Martin’s leadership, and given the point of the PD’s was to be FG without joining FG having been FFer’s themselves, you’d now wonder what the point of FF is.

“Great idea!, we could take a photo of then wearing tshirts and jeans, that’s what young people wear now!”
Reads like the Tories asking for brexit ideas after they already left the EU.
Guys you’re in power, if you hadn’t come up with what you wanted to do before being elected, then that’s the problem.

This is FF about to lose the role of Taoiseach, reverting to classic FF type and trying to figure out how to renege on the deal now that they’ve had the best of it.
