Hello guys..here’s perhaps a strange one.

So the context: I moved in with my boyfriend who lives with his family (mum and a brother), a few weeks ago. We’ve been together 4ish years and generally I get along well with the family. They (including my boyfriend) are a bit emotionally detached but yeah it’s been fine. They are also upper middle class, owning a house and big garden in a nice district.

The situation: Today I come home after a long day and head to the bathroom and I see my stuff removed from the shelf above (facewash, lotion etc.) and put aside and this note in the photo. That’s how the counter top looks like.

Personally I felt dejected and asked my boyfriend if he knew about marble getting stained but he had no idea. Me neither, I mean I grew up average household that had no marble in bathrooms.

Question: I don’t know how to take this? I’m so confused as I don’t know how usually Germans tackle such issues.

I’ve had German flatmates before but usually for minor things they’d address it personally with “bitte kannst du..” or something along those lines.

I don’t want to be unnecessarily upset but also don’t want to dismiss any feelings I should rightfully be feeling.

Sorry for the long post .. I have anxiety disorder and things have been tough lately so I want to make sure I don’t overthink this.

I would super appreciate any input!

PS. Of course I admit my mistake and wioo try to fix it if possible ^^

Thanks (:[The counter top](https://pasteboard.co/pFYPh3tQh9tA.jpg)
