These were circulation coins, they are not rare, so I doubt it is worth faking them. It looks a bit worn, though, and I assume XF+ is a claim that it isn’t. Looking in Latvian coin shops, it costs 30+ euros now, IIRC used to be way less. Latvian Bank has also issued a silver commemorative coin with the same design, which costs around 90 euros, so if you see a high-priced one with image of an old one or vice-versa something might be off
100% there are fake 5 lat coins. You can get one right now on aliexpress for like 3 euros. All the ones I see are 1929, so other years could be untouched.
No idea how good they are, but pics make them look quite Ok and even a bit worn looking.
