Gee, if only we could perhaps teach kids about these things before they started doing them so they’d understand a little better…

We used to infrared dirties to eachother. I dread to think what we were touching when holding our phones together.
Well duh. People think that horny 15 year olds aren’t sending each other nudes? Do they ever remember being 15? A particularly curvacious tomato would have set me off.
Kids can be vindictive, selfish, unempatheic monsters. It can’t be surprising that they are less than confidential with these images. Especially when there is little to no teaching about consent outside of “don’t rape people”.
The obvious answer is to teach respect of bodily autonomy and one’s own image early on. Unfortunately I think the powers that be are still woefully behind on knowledge of technology.
Maybe the obvious solution is stop buying children expensive £1000 phones.
I don’t want to sound like some old grump, as I’m only 29.
However phones these days are more expensive than good quality laptops and tablets which are a lot more useful.
I spend a lot of time coaching sports on the weekend and a lot of the kids, come from UC households live in council estates and the number of them with iPhones and airpods makes you wonder if their parents have their priorities right.
They complain every year when it comes to club renewal fees, and we only charge like £20 a year for under 18s. This is for 2 hours a week 40 weeks a year, yet their kids have the latest iPhone and wear designer clothes
I was poor my entire childhood and for the past 7 years since leaving university.
I just don’t like people that complain about being poor when they wate money on unnecessary luxuries.
I spent the last 7 years grafting and still earning around 17k, not eligible for UC, yet I still managed to pay my bills, eat healthily and have a social life as a single.
Yet I know loads of people who are earning more than me as a couple and get UC, live in council housing with low rents and complain about not being able to afford to go on holiday.
Live within your means and you won’t have a problem
Question: why aren’t the cops busting down doors and making arrests over this?
Based on what it sounds like, secondary school boys are distributing involuntary nudes of their female classmates.
I don’t care if the perpetrators are secondary school pupils or fully grown adults. CP is CP.
