I don’t recall many stories of ‘incredible wealth’ being put forward as an argument to leave the EU. The article isn’t very clear on why it thinks the current problems are caused by Brexit, as opposed to the massive costs of COVID, plus the Ukraine war.
Shock as cutting off one’s nose to spite your face, is a bad idea.
But will people choose to admit Brexit was their fault and seek to regain EU membership? I suspect a lot of Leave voters will deny their part in it, or think we should grit our teeth and get on with life outside the EU. There is no sign that those unsatisfied with how their Brexit turned out want to reverse the decision.
We still hold all the cards right?…
Yer, it’s pants innit.
I mean it hit me six years ago, but maybe thats just me
Am I the only one who has a problem with this “six years on from Brexit” headline that keeps being thrown around?
It’s been 2 years since actual Brexit and only 1 since it fully came into practice.
