Romania, the land of cats

  1. If I was a cat I’d want to know more about the opportunities for immigration to Romania! Clearly the feline plan will happen their first.

  2. Lived in Portugal for more than 10 years, and there are dogs everywhere. No way the third of households are cat owners.

  3. I wonder if this impacts things like usage of fireworks…

The only negative really is that a lot of cats don’t interact well together (especially being introduced as adults), and moving in with new people can be a problem when so many people own cats.

Aside from that fact being with so many cat owners would be amazing!

  4. To be honest I don’t think we hold this 1st place by choice. Stray cats just randomly decide that your house is actually their house and people feed them whatever’s left of lunch and dinner. Win-win???

Even I had a stray cat, was very feral and not used to humans at all. She fell off my neighbour’s roof trying to get to ours but landed in whatever you call a frontyard that’s made of 90% concrete. She kept crying for her mother for days on end and so we gave her bits of food so she wouldn’t starve. After maybe a month she started to get used to us and we just kinda adopted her.

And then there’s my aunt who has over 20 pets and her son who was mostly unemployed his entire life got a job so he could get more cats and sustain them
