Two swimmers missing in Halkidiki: Big Search & Rescue operation underway

“Mobilization of authorities was immediate, while also private boats set to seek for the missing persons.”

Im the guy that first called 112 there. I did it at 1624. During the conversation I gave gps cordinates to the man that was speaking with me.

I had to leave around 1800, because of my 5y old son getting cold. We were still able to see those people (far, but they were definitely still afloat), and mentioned surfer that was fighting the wind to try to help.

So it was 1.5h hour later – and there was no rescue boat / heli nowhere to be seen. We were looking on the way back, nothing, so i would assume that there wasnt anyone for 2 hours.
If time in article is correct – after 1900, when this surfer saved one of them, then noone came for close to 3 hours.
