I think it’s ok to have private schools. But they shouldn’t be allowed to charge fees. They should be funded by donations that are not tied to inclusion/exclusion
How does society benefit from these luxury schools for the children of the very rich ?
Here’s what gets me. Private schools are a lot of money. We’re talking equivalent to a person’s entire low to midrange salary money. How is it that wealthy people are willing to piss away that amount of cash on a private education for their kids, but a tax increase is unacceptable?
Private schools serve no purpose other than to keep high quality education, opportunities and contacts away from the lower classes.
