Johnson says inflation is a ‘price worth paying’ to defend Ukrainian freedom

  1. The problem Boris is that you won’t feel the effects. You won’t run out of dodgy money from your dodgy mates to pay the leki bill.
You get your scran subsidised for some fucking reason. 150k a year yet he gets discounted fucking food.

  2. Not taking Russian money, giving Russian spies seats in HoL, and not using Russian bot farms to push Brexit would have helped too…

  3. Such a lying, gaslighting piece of shit using the Ukraine crisis to hide the fact he’s allowing the country to go to shit because the rich are hoarding more and more of the wealth.

  4. Inflation hasn’t happened since the Ukrain War.

Inflation is been coming due to poor and corrupt govenment and its cabinet ministers.

    No Wonder Oliver Dowden resigned.

  5. I too would think that if I had people prepared to foot £150k bill to build a treehouse for one of my kids or £800 per roll of wallpaper or any other bat shit crazy thing my mop head could think of.

  6. That’s a bit disingenuous from Boris, as inflation was going up well before the war.

Remember that Boris is a member of WEF (and also many other world leaders whose countries experience similar economic problems) and their 2030 agenda is for you to own nothing and the inflation is a perfect instrument for this to happen.

Things get more expensive, taxes getting higher and wages are not going up – it means you get to have less and less and eventually you will start selling your possessions and spending your savings.

They are also phasing out small and medium business and self employment. Everyone will be an agency worker for WEF affiliated corporations.

  7. Not all the inflation we are seeing is a result of the war in Ukraine and methods to reduce the impact are not all dependent on the war ending. Inflation in the UK has a mix of contributing factors and we can tackle those and help those most affected without considering the war in Ukraine. Obviously, Johnson knows this, however it is convenient to use the war in Ukraine as an excuse to do nothing.

  8. So he’s also going to advise them not to join the EU? Because you know it’s just so awful to be a member of it, and Ukraine are really keen to join.

  9. “Defending Ukraine freedom” is a convenient excuse for not doing anything to deal with inflation

  10. Ukraine isn’t the reason. Profits and wealth and tax evasion from the highest earners are the main contributor for inflation. The way he can gaslight and at the same time imply that Ukrainians are to blame for the hard times ahead. Turns my stomach.

  11. So did we vote on this being a price worth paying collectively as a country? Or did he decide this on our behalf ?

  12. Remember that as inflation for the goods you spend most of your money on (food, shelter, energy) goes up, the things that the rich spend their money on (shares and other assets) tend to go down in price.

Who wants to bet that the majority of the cabinet didn’t copy Cummings when he sold all his shares in September last year, and are hoping for a full on market crash before they get back in?

  13. Johnson is actively capitalising upon the deaths of innocent Ukrainians in order to save his own skin.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s internally celebrated these most recent deaths as it gives him more political capital.

  14. He’s absolutely loving the Ukraine situation. Every fuck up and he can just point his finger a thousand miles South-East and say “hey hey! Look over there!”

Meanwhile billionaires portfolios of assets go up by 8 or 9 figures a year while your nurse, your kids teaching assistant or the person who packed your click and collect order at Asda is queuing for a foodbank.
