Maybe just send a picture to your wijkagent if you dont trust it, if they get multiple reports that they can anticipate on it.

I heard a long time a go these could be markings for house invaders to recognize a house they scouted some time ago
We once had a simular problem, the whole street had markings in front of the house, police got involved and tolded us it were guys trying to inform other guys if it would be good to break in. You might want to check if other people in your area have this type of markings too, if that’s not the case I wouldn’t think much of it.
Marked the property for a robbery? They did that in the UK I believe.
